Does hypnosis work? I think I should start with my story before getting to the fund stuff! It can really help you understand why what I have to share is so powerful. You see I spent a lot of years unhappy for many reasons which led to even more unhappiness, loneliness, bitterness… you get the idea. By the age of 32 I was headed for divorce and the reality of raising 3 children on my own, without the benefit of homeownership or job security. Furthermore I was packing on the pounds until I ended up living with my mother, working at a fast food restaurant and weighing over 260 pounds!

I had been depressed for a long time up to this point and my mother had urged me to seek counseling. I reluctantly went and on the very first visit the doctor asked me “Hypnosis, does it work?” I wondered what the hell this had to do with anything at the time. I didn’t give a care in the world about hypnosis and I sure didn’t think it applied to my situation. Then she explained that she simply wanted to know my opinion. I told her of course I didn’t think that hypnosis worked and she laughed! I thought she was a kook, really.

But she simply told me to do a little research on the issue as it’s something she is very specialized in, and if I was interested than she’d like to try treating me. I went home in tears, wondering why I went to visit her in the first place. Unfortunately, the next few days all that kept going through my head were things like “does hypnosis really work? Does hypnosis work for weight loss? Does hypnosis work for depression? Does hypnosis work to quit smoking?” so I was driven to do some research in the end.

It was about 2am when I went on my first search in hopes of answering the question when I cam across the website that has changed my life forever.
